As the kingdom realizes the need to step towards an Electronic Government, and to have its foot marks on the global map, it became wise to keep up with this positive move by the different functions working with the government. Therefore, INVENT Information technology Systems have worked with Bahrain Olympic Committee to establish a financial management system that manages everyday financial transactions; this is to simplify financial and accounting operations, and to also ensure the integrity of the financial system within the organization. The system was developed using a server based architecture allowing multiple clients access to the centralized database where all information is stored. The system was a modification to INVENT ERP GL System to suit the exact need of the organization; the modification also included a change of the application to the Arabic Language to suite the primary language used within the Kingdom’s Ministries. The system features a powerful engine that ensures that all transactions are tracked and routed to an approval process. It also ensures accountability and security of the financial system within the organization by identifying each user accessing the system by a unique username. The system was designed by accountants and implemented by our State of the Art Programming Department.
